So, as of about two hours ago....I was named the Editor In Chief for my school yearbook next year!!! If you know me or have watched my gallery for a while, you know this is pretty much my life and the culmination of my highschool career. (I'm only half kidding!) NIIIIIIIICE.

The whole week so far has been pretty surreal...this weekend (yesterday, actually) I was visiting colleges and then heard the news about Virginia Tech as it unfolded. I'm sure most of you (at least those living in the US) know all about it...it was especially scary because a lot of the seniors at my school last year went off to VT, I know a bunch of them and some are even in the ENGINEERING program - really scary. The shooter himself also comes from my general area....unfortunately I was nowhere near a computer until late, but thankfully, everyone I know is okay.

There's not really that much more I can say about it.

In other news...I have a whole bunch of new photos to upload, from my school's Cultural Festival performances and a few other random things as well. I try to accentuate the positive.
